We are currently offering courses,this includes the Old Early Years NVQ for those who need to complete units to gain the full Award and still within there 5 year registration period with Cache and the old Certificate in Childminding Practice again for those who are already registered with Cache and need to complete before the expiry date of the certificate.
It's a simple listing of the courses we offer and what
achievement of each course will (generally) enable you
to do.

Transition Modules
This award is an ideal oppotunity for play workers to gain an early years qualification and for early years practitioners to gain
a playwork qualification, however you must already have a level 3 in your area already to enrol on this course. Ideal for AFTER SCHOOL & HOLIDAY CLUB teams to achieve. The course requires 2 written assignments, one of which is externally marked by CACHE, the recommended study hours required is 60 and once enrolled you will be supported by your tutor online & telephone over a 20 week period.

Childcare Learning & Development (CCLD) Level 2
This qualification is for those working in an assistant role. You will need to produce some written evidence and show good practice within your role in the care of the children between the ages of 0-8 or 8-16years as this new CCLD offers two strands depending on your setting. You will be assessed in the setting to the NVQ criteria and you will be asked verbal questions by your personal assessor who's aim will be to support and guide you through NVQ. There are 7 units in total to complete.

Childcare Learning & Development (CCLD) Level 3
This qualification is for those working in a supervisory role. You will need to produce written evidence to a high standard and take a leading role in the care of the children between the ages of 0-8 or 8-16years as this new CCLD offers two strands depending on your setting. You will be assessed in the setting to the NVQ criteria and you will be expected to have professional discussions with your personal assessor who's aim will be to support and guide you through NVQ. There are 9 units in total to complete.

NVQ Early Years Care & Education Level
2
Generally, this qualification is taken by those wanting
to become a qualified assistant in a childcare setting.
This work can either be paid or a voluntary job with
children between the ages of 0-8 years. You will need
to plan activities for the children and maintain good
practice, as you are assessed in the work place to the
NVQ criteria, your personal assessor will support and
guide you through this. There are 10 units in total
to complete.
